Named after the graceful bow in classical ballet, Curtsy is a gesture of respect, elegance and devotion. Traditionally performed as part of the révérence, it marks a moment of gratitude and acknowledgement towards the audience. Together with its counterpart Relevé, it explores two complementary movements - lowering and rising. Rather than opposites, they are connected through the fluidity of dance.
